2.2 Domain & SEO Data
When you use our Service, we collect and process:
- Domain URLs you add for tracking
- Keywords and search position data
- AI visibility tracking results (responses from AI platforms queried on your behalf)
- Generated content (articles, social posts)
- Google Search Console data (if you connect your GSC account)
2.3 AI Visibility Check (Free Tool)
When you use our free AI Visibility Check tool, we collect the domain, brand name, and industry you provide. If you optionally provide your email to receive a report, we store your email and check results.
2.4 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you visit our Service, including IP address (for rate limiting), browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our Service
- To track SEO positions and AI visibility on your behalf
- To generate content based on your keywords and domain data

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide our features:
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU data center)
- OpenAI (ChatGPT) — AI visibility tracking and content generation
- Perplexity AI — AI visibility tracking
- Google Gemini — AI visibility tracking
- Google Search Console API — keyword position data (with your authorization)
- Firecrawl — domain scanning (self-hosted)
- fal.ai — image generation for articles
- Buffer — social media publishing (if you connect)
When we query AI platforms for visibility tracking, we send industry-related prompts that may include your brand name. We do not send your personal data to these services.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for the following periods:
- Account data — retained as long as your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
- SEO & AI visibility data — retained for up to 24 months for historical tracking; older data is automatically purged
- AI Visibility Check (free tool) — lead data retained for 12 months, then anonymized
- Server logs & IP addresses — retained for 90 days for security and abuse prevention
- Payment data — handled by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
You can request deletion of all your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@seo-scope.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level security on our database, and secure API key management. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will also notify you directly without undue delay.
